The credit model
One credit, one form. Everything after that is free.
Everything on this page is priced in credits, and a credit is a simple thing: it is one record. What a record does over the rest of its life — every handoff, every signature, every check run by someone on the other side — is not metered at all.
One credit creates one form
Creating an Authenticated Chain of Custody Form spends a single credit. That covers the record for as long as it exists — the fields you fill in, any custom fields you add, the PDF you export for an exhibit binder, and the verification code printed on it.
Transfers and verifications are not metered
A form can change hands as many times as the matter requires, and none of those handoffs costs a credit. Neither does verification: a recipient, an opposing expert, or a judge can check the record with no account and no payment. Creation is the only billable event.

The free plan is a standing allowance, not a trial: 5 Authenticated Chain of Custody Forms are credited to every account each calendar month, with no card and no clock counting down. Transfers and verification are unlimited on it, exactly as on every paid plan. The month's credits expire at month end and the next month's arrive in their place; exported PDFs carry a watermark, and the record itself is identical to a paid one — same seal, same hashes, same public verification.
What happens to credits you do not use
Single-form credits never expire — a credit you bought outright has no expiry date and no clock on it. Free-plan and subscription credits both belong to the month they were granted in and do not roll over: the free plan's 5 lapse at month end and the next month's arrive in their place. When you hold more than one kind at once, the expiring credits are always spent first, automatically — so a monthly credit is never left to lapse while a permanent one is burned.
Per form or per month
When a subscription is cheaper, and when it is not.
A plan is only cheaper if the credits get used, because plan credits expire with the billing month. The arithmetic is the whole of the argument, so here it is: at $4.99 a form, a plan starts saving money at the point where the forms you create in a month would have cost more than the plan does.

Buy single forms if you create fewer than 5 a month
4 forms bought outright come to $19.96, which is less than the $19.99 Starter plan — and none of it expires at the end of the month. Volume that swings, a heavy month and then a quiet one, points the same way: a quiet month on a plan is credits paid for and lost, while a single-form credit simply waits.
Subscribe once your volume is steady
From 5 forms a month, Starter already costs less than buying them one at a time, and the per-form price falls from there — about $1.25 on Professional and about $0.67 on Enterprise when the credits are used. Plans renew until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

A form you can print today
The form generator builds a printable chain of custody PDF with a transfer log, with no account and no payment. It is a piece of paper rather than a sealed record — nothing about a downloaded PDF can be checked later — but if what you need is a form to carry to a scene, take it.
Verification, for anyone
Checking a record costs nothing and always will. Opposing counsel, a recipient, or a court can enter a verification code and see whether the form and its custody history are unaltered, without an account and without learning what the record describes.

- What counts as one form?
- Creating one Authenticated Chain of Custody Form uses one credit. Every transfer of that form and every verification is unlimited and free — you're only charged when you create a new form.
- Do monthly credits roll over?
- No. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you need more in a given month, you can buy single forms at $4.99 anytime, or move up a plan.
- Do single-form credits expire?
- No. A credit bought outright has no expiry date and sits in your account until you use it. Plan credits are the ones tied to a billing month, and when you hold both kinds the plan credits are spent first — the expiring balance goes before the permanent one.
- Should I buy single forms or subscribe?
- Count the forms you create in an ordinary month. Below 5, single forms cost less: 4 of them come to $19.96, which is under the $19.99 Starter plan, and nothing expires at the end of the month. From 5 forms up, the plan is cheaper, and the per-form price keeps falling — Professional works out to about $1.25 a form when the credits are used.
- Is verification really free?
- Yes. Anyone — including third parties with no account — can verify a form's authenticity at no cost, and without seeing the underlying evidence details. We store only the hash values needed for verification.
- Can recipients accept a transfer without an account?
- Yes. When you transfer custody, the recipient receives a secure link, confirms their identity and signs, and accepts — no account required.
- What happens to my records if I cancel?
- They stay where they are. Cancelling stops the monthly credit grant; it does not remove the forms you have already created, and it has no effect on verification, which is public and never depended on a subscription. Access to a month you have paid for runs to the end of that billing period.
- Do you offer refunds?
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing portal, and access continues to the end of the current period. Payments are otherwise not refunded except where the law requires it — which is precisely why the free plan exists: 5 forms a month, every month, so you can create real records and run the whole workflow before any money changes hands.
- Is there a discount for a large agency or lab?
- Enterprise is $99.99 for 150 forms a month, which is about $0.67 a form. Above that volume, or where procurement needs invoicing rather than a card, get in touch and we will work out a plan for the volume you actually have.
- Are these records admissible in court?
